Sorry that its been a while since I posted. Time goes by fast and I guess I just had nothing to blog about! lol But within about a month's time I came up with a few ideas to try. One of the ideas that I came up with is to eventually do fundraisers for groups. I know that it would probably be a lot of work starting out trying to get everything set up for it but I think that it would be fun! As I was on the Mary Kay InTouch website, women shared different ideas for what "types" of fundraisers to do. A women came up with the idea of what she called a "Mascara-Thon." I thought that that idea was a pretty good idea. Another idea that I saw was that another consultant did the same type of thing with hand cream before Christmas. I hope that eventually I can do something like this once I really get my Mary Kay business off to a good start.
Another idea that I have seen on the InTouch website is doing an open house like about Christmas time for example. When I saw this idea on the website, I thought it was an awesome idea to 1. get my business out there of course and 2. I could help potential or current customers get fun and cute gifts for Christmas or birthday presents. An idea that I saw on how to present the products is that I could present wrapped gifts for the customers that come to the open house. I feel like what would be another good idea is to do an open house with someone who sells jewelry or Scentsy.
Well that's all the ideas that I have came along with so far. They are pretty good right! I can't wait to start up the open houses when I get back to school! Its going to be so much fun. :) A bonus is that my roommate that I'm living with next year (I met her last school year in one of my graphics classes) also became a Mary Kay Consultant about the same time I did. I'm just glad that I will have someone to put on Mary Kay parties an open houses with! Can't wait for school to start to get them going. Well anyways that's all I got so hope you enjoyed my post!
