New ideas!

Sorry its been a while since I have written! Its been a crazy time since I have last posted. I have started my last year of college last month on August 19th and of course its been a little crazy since then! But anyways, I'm just going to update you on what I am thinking about doing relatively soon and then what I am planning on doing a little further on this semester closer to Christmas.

Something that I am thinking about doing fairly soon is having a big sale to get some inventory out. Also, even though it is a tad early, I wanted to give my customers a chance to get a head start on Christmas shopping as well. This is how I am planning on doing my inventory so far. Between 8-10 am, I will take 40% off their order. From 10:01-12, I will take 30% off their order. From 12:01 till 2, I will take 20% off of their order. Any orders placed past 2:01 till midnight, I will just take off 10% off their order. I am hoping that this goes really well so that I can order some new product in.

The other thing that I am planning on doing later on this semester closer to Christmas is what is called "Adopt a Grandparent for Christmas!" The reason I am wanting to do this is because for some of those local elderly residents, it may be the only gift that they get. This little gift will include a Fragrance Free Satin Hands Cream for their hands and Mint Bliss Energizing Foot & Leg Treatment. This gift will be great for both women and men. The price will be $21 including tax and gift wrap.

So how I am going to go about this is I am going to pick a nursing home to do this for and call them to see if it is ok that I do it for the residents. Then if I get the ok to do it, I will ask how many residents that they have so I know how many gifts need bought. Then I will go out to local businesses in the town that I live in and just ask the owners if they would love to help out and buy at least one gift set. I will of course also be talking to my friends as well to see if they would love to help support what I am doing for the elderly residents.

As always, thank you for reading my post and if you have any ideas as to how I could make any of these two ventures better, just let me know! :)
