Mary Kay has put the different types of skin tones into three general categories. There are colors that look great on ivory/fair skin, medium/beige skin tones, and bronze/ebony skin tones. Below are tips for each skin tone.
Ivory/Fair Skin Tones
Eyes: For eyes there is a great range of Mineral Eye Color from Mary Kay that work great for those who have ivory/fair skin. To list a few, some colors are neutrals, cool purples, and reddish browns. Love the more dramatic look? Bold greens or warm purples look great on ivory skin as well!
Cheeks: Light pinks and peaches look best on ivory/fair skin tones because it gives them a natural blush.
Lips: Warm pinks and peaches! These colors will help ivory/fair skin tones to look naturally vibrant. Who doesn't want that!
Medium/Beige Skin Tones
Eyes: Greens and soft plums are just a couple of colors that look great on this skin tone! If you're going out for the evening, try navys or deep purples. I honestly wish I had this skin tone because one of my favorite colors is green! If you have ivory/fair skin like me, green eye color doesn't always look the best on you.
Cheeks: To get that natural blush warm browns are one of several colors that work best on this skin tone!
Lips: Love having a natural glow? Who doesn't! Shades of coral and light berries work best with this skin tone.
Bronze/Ebony Skin Tones
Eyes: Golds, charcoal, or deep browns for an every day look, looks great on with those who have this skin tone. Feeling a little dramatic? Try dark purples or bold blues!
Cheeks: Reddish browns and deep berry shades look best on those who have this skin tone. Blushes with either of these tones will help you to get a fresh, natural look.
Lips: Bronze/Ebony skin tones will look great with glosses or lipsticks in colors of golden chocolates and deep reds on their lips.
