Something that I have been thinking about doing for a while is figuring out some way to give back to the town I attend college in. I got to thinking about the different ways that I could and the idea that I picked was to do some type of fundraiser for this historical theater that is being restored. I contacted them late last week and asked them if they were still needing funds to help restore the theater and if so, could I be able to use my Mary Kay Business to help them out.
They said yes and I will be getting to meet with them this following Thursday to think up ideas as to what to do. When the fundraiser is done, I will be giving them a percentage of the total sales. I am just so happy to be able to help them out and be able to give back to the community. This is something that won't happen till next semester so I won't be able to tell you how it went for a while.
