Giving back to College Town-Update

A while back I put up a post about how I had a meeting with someone who is one of the marketing team who are doing different things to restore a historical theater in the town that I am going to college in. The meeting went great! All I had left to do after I met with one of the people on the marketing team was to come up with a proposal and send it to both her and the VP of the organization to review. They accepted my proposal and only wanted to make one small change.

The type of fundraising that I will be doing for them is I will be letting my clients know that I am selling certain bundles and sets to help benefit a historic theater in my college town. I will be doing the fundraiser for two weeks mainly for those who would like to help support but live far enough away that I can't swing and pick up the money for their order. The two week time period will give them enough time to send their order down to me. I will be donating 25-30% of the total sales to the Theater Foundation in my college town. I haven't decided yet as to when during the semester I will be doing the fundraiser yet.

I got to actually have a special tour of the historical theater and even though it is still in the process of being restored, I still find it so extremely beautiful! Some of the things that are being done is that they are bringing some of the wall scones that are going to be used for lights back up to code, trying to recreate and match tile to the original time used in the entrance of the building, and of course fixing various other things throughout the building as well.

I hope all of you enjoyed this post and if you have any ideas as to what sets and bundles I could do feel free to comment below! I would love to hear your ideas!
